***Mail Settings *** 

If you are having a problem sending or receiving mail, please
check your mail settings.  These settings are different, 
depending on what your email address is (former provider).

Find your mail server name below for the instructions that 
pertain to you. We have provided the basic instructions for 
Outlook Express as that is most commonly used mail program. 

Local Dialup Customers

Outlook Express
Open Outlook Express ;
Click on Tools ;
Click on Accounts ;
Click on Mail Tab ;
Click on (highlight) your Local Dialup account ;
Click the properties button on the right ;
Click on the Servers tab ;

Server Information
POP3 should say pop.localdialup.com
SMTP should say smtp.localdialup.com

Incoming Mail Server
Account name: yourusername@localdialup.com
Password: yourpassword (must be at least 6 characters)

Put a check in remember my password if you want to
There should be no check in log on using Secure Password 
Authentication

Outgoing Mail Server
Put a check in my server requires authentication

Now click on the Advanced tab

Server Port Numbers
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) type 2525

Click Apply, OK, then close.
Check your mail again. 

You may also check your mail online from anywhere.
The webmail portal is located at 
webmail.localdialup.com

LNI Customers

Outlook Express

Open Outlook Express ;
Click on Tools ;
Click on Accounts ;
Click on Mail Tab ;
Click on (highlight) your LNI account ;
Click the properties button on the right ;
Click on the Servers tab ;

Server Information
POP3 should say pop.lni.net
SMTP should say smtp.lni.net

Incoming Mail Server
Account name: yourusername@lni.net
Password: yourpassword (must be at least 6 characters)
